About Clare
I have been a Counsellor in British Columbia since 2008 when I moved to this beautiful country. I've been practicing since 2005, when I was in my third year at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco.

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, our family moved to the British Isles when I was 10 years old. School was something I did well because I was told to; an obedient student I got through the hoops but had little idea of who I really was.
Initially I thought I wanted to change the education system (no kidding!), so at 18 years of age, I embarked on a three-year teacher training degree in Waldorf Education in the UK. I then worked, travelled and very quickly found myself in San Francisco studying Integral Counselling. I was drawn to the program mainly because of the balance it provided between the Western and Eastern perspectives of the mind.
Despite offering me many opportunities to discover myself, I was still seeking answers to many questions I had about our psyche and our capacity to heal and evolve, I then took the two-year certification in Intuition Medicine (energy work) in Sausalito. During that time I moved to Canada, and continued my counselling work in various settings. I'm an eternal student, always learning and growing.

I run a private practice offering counselling in BC, and energy work, Reiki and ThetaHealing® worldwide.
